Identity “The Source”

The Riverbourne Identity is true to the title, “The Source” . Here, the whisky’s character is derived from the spirit itself and its unique fermentation.

The aroma is fresh, vibrant and inviting. The nose is playful of citrus cream and sappy, new oak flavours. With time, crisp green fruits emerge as does subtle vanilla notes that are captivating.

Sipping the whisky is not a problem; the initial flavour is that of puckering citrus with woody undertones. This then gives way to juicy, under-ripe green apples mixed with grapefruit. The more you sip, the more the tongue unravels crème brûlée and citrus tarts before experiencing dashes of vanilla on exhale.
